Do your recovery plans work?
Using them, will you recover from a disaster, interruption or outage?
When it comes to risk management, a functional exercise is an excellent way to assess your company’s capabilities in responding to a disaster using your business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan. It evaluates the plan’s abilities as well as the participants’ abilities and skills based on the plan(s) to recover from an interruption or a potential disaster.
Using your recovery documentation, backup data, configuration and network, we will work with your staff to conduct a recovery exercise of a critical business process. We will observe and document your recovery team’s efforts, the completeness of your process and the comprehensiveness of your recovery documentation.
A written summary of findings and recommendations, called the Functional Exercise Report, will be developed and delivered within 30 working days of completing the exercise.
